Family Protection Unit - A Statistical Analysis
The Family Protection Unit (FPU) was established in August 2005 as a collaborative effort between the then Ministry of Gender and Family and the Ministry of Health, with the support of UNFPA, UNICEF and WHO. This booklet gives an overview of the statistical analysis of case records at the FPU of IGMH from August 2005 to 2009.

Maldives: Youth Voices Report 2005
Policy interventions and programmes that strengthen the wellbeing and status of young people are essential for reaching the Millennium Development Goals. The active role and the participation of Youth in contributing towards the success of policy interventions and programmes cannot be underscored.
The Youth Voices: Facts, Opinions and Solutions Report is a one of the first such endeavours in the Maldives where Youth were empowered to lead nationwide consultations and research on issues that concern them. This project has now been successfully completed and the main findings of this two year process have been presented to high level policy makers.
