The Maldives Study on Women’s Health and Life Experiences

Publications

Until now, violence against women has remained largely hidden and undocumented in the Maldives. This has made it difficult to assess the extent of the problem or develop effective prevention strategies and support services for victims of violence. This study on violence against women is the first of its kind in the Maldives and the culmination of 3 years of hard work by many organizations and individuals here and abroad.
